Talitha Halley is an Alum of Howard University and a television and Film producer from New Orleans, Louisiana by way of Houston, Texas. Talitha found her passion for activism when her family was uprooted from their home in New Orleans, due to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. It was then that Talitha decided that she would live a life of service and would not let the tragedy that happened to her dictate her future.


Talitha’s experience at Howard would help shape her worldview. During her senior year, Talitha decided that she would no longer attend law school but instead pursue an alternative career path in entertainment, focused primarily on transforming the industry through diversity and inclusion for people of color.


She has held positions at Radio-One Baltimore, Under Armour Corporate Headquarters, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America and is currently a Segment Producer and Producing Assistant at Bodi Studios in Los Angeles, California.


Additionally, Talitha serves on the national board of Communities In Schools (CIS) a national non-profit dedicated to helping students stay in school. Talitha’s commitment has always been rooted in gratitude and ensuring that she can reach back and pull other students forward. Talitha has a profound respect for education and community-based programs that help students achieve beyond their wildest dreams.
