Kevin comes to the GODDESS Mentoring board with a track record of three decades of investing in the support and development of young people from Chicago. He began his time in Chicago mentoring boys as a staff member of Inner City Impact. He spent eighteen years leading on the west side of Chicago as a pastor of a community based congregation. Kevin is also the founder of Pursue Scholars which holistically invests in emerging urban leaders. Kevin is currently serving as an advisor to Pursue Scholars as well as supporting individuals flourishing as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Serving on the GODDESS Mentoring board is a natural outflow of Kevin’s passion for seeing young people reach their full potential. It is also an endorsement of his belief in Teirra Scott as a leader for the next generation.

Kevin holds a Bachelor’s from Cedarville University, a Master’s in Christian Formation from Wheaton College, and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from North Park University. 

Kevin enjoys reading, travel, playing golf, watching college football, and spending time with his wife and adult children.
